Technical metrology ensures the suitability of measurement instruments, their calibration and quality control. Although metrology is concerned with the measurements themselves, the traceability of the measuring device’s calibration is necessary to ensure confidence in the measurement.
HARLEQUIN’s objective is to provide goods and services that conform to customers’ needs and expectations, especially where contractual requirements, specifications and relevant statutory regulations are concerned.
This objective is achieved through the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) which complies with ISO 9001: 2008.
HARLEQUIN WAS THE FIRST COMPANY OF ITS KIND IN GHANA TO BE AWARDED WITH ISO 9001: 2008 CERTIFICATION VIA DNV DET NORSKE VERITAS.
The Quality Assurance Centre ensures that all activities comply with QMS standards. Harlequin’s QA team ensure that customer requirements are reviewed prior to commencement of work and continue to track all aspects of a project for the duration of the project. This includes inspections when raw materials arrive as well as regular progress inspections, auditing, calibration of instruments and the approval of instructions and procedures from start to finish.
Emphasis is placed on all staff to be individually responsible for the quality of their work and to remain committed to comply with QHSE requirements.
